2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that a site stores on your device. They allow information to be kept or retrieved, such as maintaining a session, remembering a choice or understanding how a page is used.

Other technologies, such as local storage or certain identifiers, may serve similar functions. This policy also applies to those technologies where they allow information to be stored on or accessed from your device.

Cookies may involve the processing of personal data, such as online identifiers or information about browsing. Not all information obtained through cookies is necessarily anonymous.

3. Types of cookies

Depending on who manages them, cookies may be first-party, managed by the entity providing the requested service, or third-party, managed by other entities.

Depending on their duration, they may be session cookies, collecting and storing information during the visit, or persistent cookies, which remain for a period.

By purpose, we distinguish:

Technical or necessary: they enable communication and essential functions to provide a requested service, such as maintaining a session or remembering the cookie choice.

Preference or personalisation: they remember certain choices, such as language. Exemption from consent depends on them responding to a user request and not being used for other purposes.

Analytics or measurement: they show how the site is used and produce statistics. Any exemption requires meeting the conditions applicable to audience measurement; simply calling them statistical is not enough.

Behavioural advertising: they build profiles from browsing activity to show personalised advertising.

This classification is informative. The technologies used on this website are only those listed in the following section.

4. Consent and preference settings

In accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, cookies used solely to transmit a communication or strictly necessary to provide an expressly requested service do not require consent for their storage or access. This exemption does not remove data protection obligations where personal data is processed.

Cookies subject to consent will remain blocked until you authorise them. Where the associated processing of personal data is based on your consent, its legal basis will be Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Where consent-based cookies are used, the banner offers:

Accept all: authorise all optional cookies listed.

Reject all: reject all optional cookies.

Configure: choose which optional purposes to allow and save your selection.

The accept and reject options will be offered at the same time and with equal prominence. Options requiring consent will not be pre-selected.

Continuing to browse, scrolling or closing the banner does not amount to consent.

Rejecting optional cookies will not prevent you from viewing basic veroDENT information or using the published contact details. External content that relies on optional technologies may remain disabled until you authorise it to load.

Google Analytics

With prior consent, vero-dent.es uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, to analyse website use statistically and understand how users interact with its content. Google Analytics may collect and process, among other data, browser and device identifiers, technical information, data on interaction with the website, pages visited, events performed, approximate origin of the visit, and the date and time of those interactions. This data helps us assess website use and improve its content, structure and functioning. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time via "Configure cookies", without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Google Analytics will not be used to transmit health data, reasons for consultation or information from which they could be inferred to Google. Google may process certain data outside the European Economic Area, including the United States, applying the legally provided transfer mechanisms. For further information on processing, retention periods and exercising your rights, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Ads

With prior consent, vero-dent.es uses Google Ads tracking and measurement technologies, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, to measure conversions, analyse the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and determine whether certain actions on our website are linked to a prior interaction with a Google ad. To do so, Google may process advertising, browser or device identifiers, technical information, attribution data and the configured conversion events, together with their date and time. Depending on the settings and the consent given, this data may also be used for advertising functions such as measurement, attribution or ad personalisation. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time via "Configure cookies", without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. We do not use Google Ads to transmit health data, reasons for consultation or information from which they could be inferred. Google may process certain data outside the European Economic Area, including the United States, applying the legally provided transfer mechanisms. For more information on processing purposes, retention periods, safeguards and exercising your rights, see the Google Privacy Policy.

OpenAI conversion pixel

With prior consent, vero-dent.es uses the OpenAI Ads conversion pixel to analyse browsing behaviour, measure conversions and assess the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on ChatGPT.

The tool transmits to OpenAI Ireland Limited, Ireland, attribution and browser identifiers, technical information and the configured interaction events, together with their date and time. This data links certain actions on our website to earlier advertising interactions. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time via "Configure cookies", without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. This tool will not be used to transmit health data, reasons for consultation or information from which they could be inferred.

OpenAI may process data outside the European Economic Area, including the United States, under the applicable transfer mechanisms. For its processing purposes, retention criteria, safeguards and ways to exercise your rights, see the OpenAI Privacy Policy.

5. Changing or withdrawing consent

You may change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time via "Configure cookies". Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

We will ask for your decision again when consent must be renewed or when purposes or third parties change so that the previous authorisation no longer covers the intended use.

You can also view and delete cookies already stored from your browser. If you delete the information that keeps your preferences, change browser or use another device, you may need to indicate your choice again.

6. Browser settings

In addition to the panel on this website, you can use the privacy or site data settings in your browser to view, block or delete cookies. The exact options depend on the browser and its version; please consult its official help for the current procedure.

Blocking necessary cookies may affect functions you have requested. Deleting cookies from your device does not automatically erase data that has already been processed; to request its erasure, use the means set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party providers and international transfers

Providers that access information via cookies or similar technologies will be identified in this section, together with their purposes and the relevant data protection information. Accepting cookies alone does not constitute a general authorisation to transfer data to any country, nor does it replace the safeguards required by the GDPR.

8. Data protection and updates

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability using the contact details in section 1. Further information on how to exercise them is available in our Privacy Policy. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency: www.aepd.es.

This policy will be updated when the technologies used, their purposes or the applicable regulations change. Publishing a new version does not replace obtaining new consent where this is necessary.
